Royce C. Haddad, Jr.

Mr. Haddad received his Bachelor of Arts degree in American History and Political Science from the University of Rochester in 1991. While attending Stetson University College of Law, Mr.Haddad assisted in the research and editing of a Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education publication entitled: Florida Environmental and Land Use Law, Volume II. Mr.Haddad graduated cum laude from Stetson in 1994 with a Juris Doctorate degree.
Upon graduation in 1994, Mr. Haddad became an associate in a litigation law firm concentrating solely on personal injury claims. As an associate, Mr. Haddad represented clients in complex injury cases including wrongful death. He actively represented clients from the initial case development through trial, including appellate work.
Along with starting his own law firm in Clearwater, FL in 1999, Mr. Haddad is also licensed to practice law in the States Ohio and Colorado. His affiliations include the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Court of Federal Claims. His memberships include the Florida Bar Association, St. Petersburg Bar Association, Florida Justice Association and American Association for Justice.

Gary J. Takacs

Mr. Takacs received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Michigan State University in 1966 and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Texas School of Law at Austin in 1969. Prior to achieving his educational degrees, he served in the United States Army. Following law school, Mr. Takacs was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
In 1976, Mr. Takacs became an Assistant United States Attorney, serving as a federal prosecutor with the Tampa office of the United States Attorney for the Federal Middle District of Florida. After eight years of prosecuting federal crimes, he was appointed Chief of the newly formed Civil Division. There he focused on civil litigation involving the United States and its agencies and employees, including representing the United States and its agencies in personal injury litigation, involving motor vehicle accidents, medical negligence lawsuits, forfeiture and foreclosure actions, and represented client interests in employment controversies.
Mr. Takacs entered private practice in 1995 and became involved in class action litigation on behalf of consumers. In 2000, Mr. Takacs opened his own office and concentrated on class actions lawsuits, injury law, counsel in foreclosure actions, and employment law issues. He proudly became affiliated with Haddad & Associates in 2012.
